Baer Brakes

Baer Brakes by Baer Racing offers over 150 brake system applications designed so the enthusiast is not required to do any welding or fabrication to successfully perform the installation. No other company in the performance brake market offers systems featuring the same level of completion.

When choosing a Baer Brake system for your application it is VERY important to make sure that the brakes will clear your rotors.  Baer has made this very easy by providing a template which you can print and use to determine fitment. Front Systems:

Serious Street (SS)

Baer's entry-level system. Offering weight savings in addition to dramatic performance enhancements over most OE muscle car brake systems, "SS" system are popular for cars that run on both the street and the strip. SS systems feature a 11" diameter x .810" directionally ventilated rotor and 2 piston PBR DOT legal aluminum calipers. SS packages can be used with many aftermarket 15" and most 16" wheels.
Sport

Fitting most of the same wheels as SS systems, SPORT versions feature a heavy-duty 12"-12.5 x 1.1" thick directionally ventilated rotor. SPORT systems also feature the newer pressure cast Baer logo version of the aluminum PBR caliper and are the legal specification for SCCA A-Sedan competition. SPORT systems are essentially identical in every respect except rotor diameter to TRACK systems.
Track

Baer's most popular system. Its 13" diameter rotor and logo version PBR caliper combine to produce solid, reasonably priced and very serious performance. Its moderate price, exceptional modulation, performance, and race-proven durability make it an ideal street or track system whenever wheel clearance allows.
Grand Touring

Employ a new design, larger, black, PBR pressure cast, Baer logo caliper with a substantially greater pad volume that also accepts rotors of up to 1.25" thick. GT systems are ideal for use on heavier vehicles such as the Impala SS.

 
Grand Touring +
Utilizing the large PBR as in GT Systems, GT+ systems feature a 14" diameter x 1.25" directional two piece rotor with a 9" billet hat, a weight savings of 5lb per rotor. Serious performance and strong visuals make GTP systems the choice for upgrading the 98 & later GM F-Body front, as well a cost effective alternative to PRO+ systems for obtaining huge rotors on street rod applications.
Extreme +
The EXTREME+ calipers are derived from those currently used in the Trans Am race series. These 6-piston, staggered bore, radial mount calipers are machined from solid blocks (billet) of 7075 aluminum and employ 2 bridge bolts for maximum stability and precise modulation. When coupled with a 2-piece Alcon rotor, this system provides absolutely the shortest stopping distances and best repeatability currently available. Although they may have been derived from race calipers, they have full dust and weather seals as do all proper road-going calipers.
Rear Systems:

PBR lightweight aluminum DOT legal single piston calipers with an integral park brake mechanism are coupled to 11.35" diameter x .810" thick directionally ventilated rotors. ROD & DRAG systems package within most 15" wheels, including ultra wide drag wheels and delivers exceptional performance in a small lightweight package.
Touring

The same as ROD & DRAG systems, but with larger 12" diameter (some applications feature 11.625 or 11.75" units) rotors. TOURING systems fit some 15" and virtually all 16" wheels.
